3D-Sense Technology

Hella Aglaia’s solutions for the non-automotive sector are based on the unique 3D-Sense Technology Toolbox that was initially developed for the automotive industry. 

Inspired by the human eye, 3D-Sense Technology enables computers to detect and process visual information in three dimensions by integrating stereo camera heads with other hard- and software components into one intelligent product. 

While 2D image processing and its applications suffer from difficulties with handling naturally changing lighting conditions, shadows and partially obscured objects, 3D-Sense Technology enables highly accurate functions in any dynamic environment.

Products based on 3D-Sense Technology deliver solutions to customers in the public transportation sector (e.g. railway and buses) and facility management which were either never possible before or only manageable in an highly inefficient and inaccurate way.
